Join GlobalStep and JASK as we explore the realities of international business in Kentucky. We will host an interactive and engaging discussion of and practical solutions to challenges in cross-cultural communication, language training, and international business practices in Kentucky and Japan.

Presenters


Roy Harrison


Roy Harrison has crossed over between Japanese and American culture for nearly twenty years. He has experience learning and teaching Japanese, and he understands the challenges that Kentuckians face when shifting their lives and their families overseas.


Michiko Harrison


Michiko Harrison was a middle school teacher in Japan before moving to Kentucky, and she has been an educator for over ten years.

Since 2001, she has been the executive director of GlobalStep. She has worked with dozens of students in a fun and energetic way as they prepare to live and work in Japan.
