Work Visas and Japanese Companies
Seminar description: チャールズ バズラー移民弁護士が、日系企業に頻繁に使用されているビザカテゴリーと、それらの問題や誤解を説明し、米国赴任者に適切なビザを選択するポイントをお伝えします。バズラー弁護士による解説は、日本語通訳と交えて提供されます。
セミナーは約30分で予定されています。セミナーの後は、Q&Aの時間を約30分用意しています。Q&Aでは皆さんの移民に関するご質問やご相談にお応えします。また、皆さん自身のビザ申請に関する経験を他の参加者の皆さんと共有する機会でもあります。Q&Aの後は、ネットワーキングの時間とし、皆さんの交流の場として会場をオープンにする予定です。
Charles Baesler, Esq. will discuss frequently used visa categories by Japanese businesses, issues and misunderstanding regarding these visas, and provide assistance in selecting an appropriate visa category for their expatriates. The seminar will be provided in both English and Japanese.
This seminar will last approximately 30 minutes, followed by a 30-minute Q&A session where participants will be encouraged to ask any questions and share their experience with visa application. We will also have a networking time after the Q&A at Stoll Keenon Ogden PLLC.

チャールズ バズラーはStoll Keenon Ogden PLLCのパートナーで、Stoll Keenon Ogden PLLC移民グループのリーダーです。米国移民局での申請や米国領事館でのビザ申請を含む、全ての移民法に関して、企業と個人のお客様のお手伝いをしています。E-2ビザ、L-1ビザ、H-1Bビザとグリーンカード申請において、日系企業さんとその従業員やご家族のお手伝いを定期的に行っています。また、税金やその他米国での企業活動に関連する問題においても日本人のお客様を支援しています。米国移民弁護士協会で様々なリーダー的役割を務めてきたほかに、雇用ベースの移民法に関する問題についてレクチャーや出版をしてきました。
Charles Baesler is a partner at Stoll Keenon Ogden PLLC and leader of the Immigration Practice Group. He represents companies and individuals in all aspects of immigration law including filings with US Immigration and visa applications at U.S. consulates. He regularly represents Japanese companies, their employees and families in processing E-2, L-1, H-1B and green card cases. He also assists Japanese clients with tax and other business issues related to the companies’ US operations. He has served in various leadership roles with the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and has published and lectured widely on issues relating to employment-based immigration law.

橋本雅子は2008年9月よりStoll Keenon Ogden PLLCにおいて、目的、期待、リスク・報酬判断が弊社弁護士と日系企業のお客様の間で理解されていることを確実にするために、日系企業のお客様と弊社弁護士間のコミュニケーションをアシストしてきました。税金、会社、そして移民などの問題を含んだ国際貿易に関して、企業のお客様とお仕事をしてまいりました。特に、移民に関する案件においては、会社、雇用、政府手続き、スケジュールや領事事項に関して、日系企業のお客様とのコミュニケーションに従事してきました。
Masako Hashimoto has worked at Stoll Keenon Ogden PLLC since September 2008. She has assisted firm attorneys in their communications with Japanese executives and employees to ensure that objectives, expectations and risk/reward assessments are communicated between client and attorney. She has worked with the firm’s business clients on international trade issues including tax, corporate and immigration issues. She has been particularly involved in immigration matters for Japanese clients, communicating with executives and employees on corporate, employment, government processing, scheduling and consular matters.
