"The Horse in Japan: 1615-1912" Exhibit
Live Tours with Expert: Dr. Sandy Kita
Tours available in both Japanese and English

Horses are beloved by both Japanese and Americans.  Berea college will host a symposium and exhibit with artifacts from the Edo and Meiji periods in Japan, including woodblocks (ukiyo-e), examining the cross-cultural meanings of the horse in society.  The full event is on October 30 (see details here).

JASK invites members to take a specially-prepared tour with Dr. Kita on Friday, October 29.  You may register for a tour in either English or Japanese.  Transportation will be on-your-own.  Dr. Kita has requested a small group so we have limited registration to 15 persons.
