"Miyagi"

The painting: "Miyagi," quietly invites its audience to remember those in Miyagi who lost their lives in the March 11 disasters and subsequent heartache. Painted in April, 2011, and donated to the Kentucky-Japan Relief Fund, prints are available for purchase here.
The painting will complement any home or business wall, a meaningful allusion to the tragedy in Japan that we must not too soon forget.
Ms. Guyon is from New York and sells most of her work there but she chooses to paint in Lexington. Busy with two recent successful projects:
one at Keeneland and now the
Nations of Nations project that moved in April from display outside Mayor Jim Gray's City Offices to the W.T. Young Library (

To assist with relief efforts in Japan, Ms. Guyon has donated the right to reprint "Miyagi" to the Japan/Kentucky Relief Fund. A fine art printer, Don Ament, will create the print on 100% quality rag-paper that will include Ms. Guyon's signature. The print will be mailed to your home or office.
We invite you to make a contribution to relief in Japan by purchasing this print, a permanent remembrance to those we have lost, and the hope with which we persevere.
