This August we announce our 2nd Annual JAPAN! Summer Festival\, a large-scale outdoor summer event for Kentuckians and their families.  Come explore Japan - enjoy Japanese cuisine and culture!\n \n  Program Highlights:\n    * Large open area near Shelter 1 will be dotted with games\, activities\, and mini-classes all focused on Japan.\n\n    * Origami - paper folding\n\n\n    * Shuji - calligraphy (write your name in Japanese)\n\n    * Kimono - try on a kimono\, snap some pictures\n\n    * Nintendo WII Tournament\n\n\n    * Japanese food - local restaurant will serve traditional summer foods from Japan\n\n    * Japanese Flea Market - Japanese families will sell a wide variety of goods you can't find in America\n\n    * Performances - various artists\, such as martial artists and musicians will share their talents\n\n    * Special Feature: TAIKO Traditional Japanese Drum Troupe from Dayton\, OH\n\n\n  \nMAP:\n\nView Larger Map\n
